He pays a visit to his adolescent daughter in the hospital. She’s sick, and the only thing that can save her is an experimental treatment. He doesn’t have that much money. He does, however, know someone at a bank who is aware of the delivery of something extremely valuable. Nick reconnects with an old flame, Veronica, and meets her boyfriend/her gym’s main financial investor.

Jack is a crime boss of some sort who helps Nick connect with a gang of thieves. The robbery goes mostly as planned, but afterward, Jack’s men shoot Nick, leave him for dead, and steal the stolen briefcase, which contains hard drives containing millions of dollars in cryptocurrency. The rest of the story revolves around Nick’s search for the briefcase and vengeance on the thieves who wronged him.
